I love the parks in South Carolina. The play equipment is so different from park to park. I feel like you can go to 10 different parks in Utah and 9 of them will be exactly the same.
Gray could climb this thing so fast.
We went out one morning to take Jason to meet his ride for work and saw this car parked next to ours. Gray thought it was the coolest car in the world.
Please look at what Halle is wearing. She really enjoyed wearing my sarong and these two scarves for a while. I'm not sure what she was trying to be, but I love it.
Our routine most days was to wake up and go to the pool, eat lunch, then go home and take naps while it stormed all afternoon.
Halle and her friend Claire. These two really became close in a short time. This was after one of the free summer movies that the movie theater would show in the mornings.
While we were dropping Jason off one morning to meet his ride for work, a whole gaggle of geese waddled behind our car. The kids were fascinated. (That's what it's called, right? A gaggle?)
A few of the geese.
I fell in love with this ivy while we were there. You see it growing up over trees all over the place.
The new pool toys that we bought with the money that Jojo sent. She sent the kids a card with money to do something fun every week that we were there. What a great grandma!
Our home teacher offered for us to spend a night at there house when they were out of town one weekend. It was really fun to have tons of room, toys, and a backyard to play in. The kids loved this jungle room.
We played tennis at their neighborhood court the next morning. The kids loved it. Afterwards we went swimming at their pool. Gray jumped off the diving board a few times, and Halle spent a lot of time standing on the diving board trying to work up the nerve to jump, but she never did. Maybe next summer.
Nash the Ball Boy.
Love that stance.
The primary Pioneer Day activity. We had to be very creative in our decorating of scooters since we had next to nothing at our house. Notice the lizard tied to Gray's handlebars and the slingshot in his pocket.
